Monument to the Liberators of Kuršumlija (1877–1878)

The central part of the town park is adorned with the Monument to the Liberators of Kuršumlija from 1877–1878, erected in 1896 through donations from citizens and King Aleksandar Obrenović. After the suppression of the Toplica Uprising in 1917, Bulgarian forces destroyed the inscriptions on the marble plaques of the monument, which are currently being restored.

Bust of Milutin Uskoković

In the central town park there is also a memorial bust dedicated to the writer Milutin Uskoković, originally from Užice, who stayed overnight at the “Europa” hotel in Kuršumlija on October 27, 1915, during the retreat of the Serbian army through Albania. Devastated by the condition of the army and the country, he threw himself into the swollen Toplica River early the next morning.

Monument to the Victims of the 1990–2000 Wars and the 1999 NATO Aggression

This memorial in the central town park is dedicated to the victims of the wars from 1990 to 2000 and the 1999 NATO bombing. The names of fallen citizens are engraved on a marble plaque, and the site serves as the central place for commemorations and wreath-laying ceremonies every year on March 24.

Memorial Ossuary to Fallen Partisans in World War II

The monument is located near the Monastery of Saint Nicholas. It was erected in 1951. It consists of an ossuary measuring 5 meters in length and up to 3 meters in width and height, along with a monument standing 8 meters tall with a 2×2 meter base.

Monument to National Hero Drinka Pavlović

The monument stands in front of the elementary school bearing her name. It depicts a female figure with the authentic likeness of Drinka Pavlović, accompanied by another figure symbolizing a young rural member of the Communist Youth League.

Monument to the Second Infantry Regiment “Knjaz Mihailo”

The monument was erected in the village of Igrište in October 2016 in honor of the Second Infantry Regiment “Knjaz Mihailo”, which gained immortal glory during the wars from 1912 to 1918.

Monument to the Fallen Fighters of the Toplica Uprising of 1917

The monument is located in the village of Mačkovac. It was unveiled at the site where the Toplica Uprising began on February 26, 1917. The Toplica Uprising was a Serbian rebellion against the Bulgarian and Austro-Hungarian occupation during World War I and remains the only uprising in an occupied country during the First World War.
