Kuršumlija and Lukovska Banja Featured in the “Agro Caravan” TV Show

The crew of the TV show “Agro Caravan” visited the Municipality of Kuršumlija and, through engaging stories, presented the tourism potential, natural beauty, and rich offer of our region.

A special focus of the program was placed on the development of rural and spa tourism, agricultural production, local producers, educational institutions, and the activities of the local self-government that contribute to the development of the municipality.

Deputy Mayor Dejan Lović and Head of the Department for Social Activities Arsenije Todorović spoke about development projects, local government activities, and the potential of Kuršumlija, while the tourist offer was presented by Marija Čolić from the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Kuršumlija.

Through the stories of local hosts and producers, viewers had the opportunity to learn more about the richness of rural tourism and the traditional way of life. Participants in the program included Milan Jaćović, president of the association “Toplička Riznica,” Goran Milanović from the ethno village “Milanović Nonac” in Igrište, as well as Slaviša Milanović, owner of a rural tourist household and producer of blackberries and raspberries from the village of Žuč. Agricultural production and rural life were also presented by Mirko Kostić, a potato producer from the village of Trebinja.

A special segment of the program was dedicated to Lukovska Banja, whose tourism, healthcare, and hospitality potential were presented by spa manager Nataša Todorović, marketing representatives Biljana Gajić and Sandra Smiljković, as well as Dr. Jelena Jovanović, specialist in internal medicine. The gastronomic offer was presented by Jelica Maksimović and Milivoje Ilić from the ethno restaurant “Lukovske Kolibe.”

The kindergarten and elementary school in Lukovska Banja were also featured in the program. Dušica Ilić, art teacher at “Miloje Zakić” Elementary School, eighth-grade student Andrija Vidosavljević, and preschool teacher Andrijana Jovičić spoke about working with children and education in this area.

Throughout the entire program, the natural beauty of Lukovska Banja and its surroundings, traditional hospitality, local gastronomy, and the opportunities that Kuršumlija offers to visitors and agricultural producers were highlighted.
