Church of Saint Petka

Church of Saint Petka is located in the area of Veliko Pupavce, along the road to Rudare, right next to the “Prolom Water” factory, 1.5 km from Hotel “Radan”. The church site was discovered in 1918. It is believed that the temple dates back to the Nemanjić period or even earlier.

According to the project of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Niš, this single-nave structure is currently being restored. It is being rebuilt using stone and covered with stone slabs.
