Memorial Ossuary to Fallen Partisans in World War II

The monument is located in the immediate vicinity of the Monastery of Saint Nicholas. It was erected in 1951. It consists of an ossuary measuring 5 meters in length and up to 3 meters in width and height, as well as a monument standing 8 meters high with a 2×2 meter base.

The ossuary contains the remains of National Liberation War (NOP) fighters who died in the battles for the liberation of Kuršumlija and its surroundings. The marble plaques beside the ossuary bear the names of fallen fighters from this region who participated in the National Liberation Struggle from 1941 to 1945.
