Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Kuršumlija

The Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Kuršumlija was founded in 1995. The main activity of the organization is the promotion of tourism in the municipality, as well as encouraging and improving tourism infrastructure.

History of Kuršumlija

During the Roman Empire, an important settlement called Ad Fines, meaning “at the end,” developed on the site of present-day Kuršumlija. It originated as a station along the famous Roman road Niš–Lješ and marked the last point administratively included within the territory of the ancient city of Naissus.
