Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul

At the entrance to Lukovska Banja, in the Babići hamlet, at the village cemetery, stands the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. According to local tradition, the church was built by King Milutin during a period when several smelters for processing lead, copper, silver, and gold operated in this region. The church was destroyed during Ottoman rule and later restored in 1871, 1895, and again in 1983 after an earthquake. The church, including the altar, is approximately 10 meters long, while both its width and height are around 5 meters. It is a 15-minute walk from Lukovska Banja and 34 km from Kuršumlija.
